Our Patient Coordinators have a huge remit which involves recording information and passing it on to triaging GPs, making nurse/HCA appointments, taking requests for home visits, giving out test results, dealing with your general queries, contacting you on behalf of the GPs and offering help and assistance at all times. All our staff are bound by a confidentiality agreement and the information you give them is always treated in the strictest confidence.
Repeat Prescribing Clerk – Janet
Janet works as our Repeat Prescribing Clerk. She manages orders for repeat medication, deals with prescribing queries, liaises with local Pharmacies and Care Homes and ensures that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Immunisation Coordinator – Gail
Gail manages Cervical Screening and Child Development, Immunisation and Flu Clinics throughout the practice. Gail ensures the smooth running of these clinics and has played a key role in developing our baby clinic to a high standard which has been recognised by Powys Local Health Board and used as a Good Practice Guide
Medical Secretaries – Enfys, Andrea and Hannah
Our secretaries provide full secretarial support to all our GPs, Practice Manager and visiting locums ensuring that patient referrals to Secondary Care are completed as efficiently as possible.

The Administration team oversee the practice administration requirements, e.g. patient registration, medical records, scanning, coding, notes summarising and staff training. The Admin team also provide IT support and training to all practice staff to ensure the practice maintains excellent data quality standards. The team work closely with Clinical Leads to ensure effective patient care.
Dispensing Staff
Kathryn, Victoria, Adam and Clare work as dispensers at the surgery, where orders for repeat medication are processed and completed within 48 working hours.
